The Story of Happy Voices Edinburgh

We are a small, amateur community choir based in central Edinburgh. The choir was formed in 2022 by a group of women who shared a desire to reconnect, meet new people and sing for fun - especially after the tough pandemic years - galvanised by our founding member, Anna Kay. The choir is currently led and managed by a group of volunteers. Lucy and Charlie take charge of music, Hazel and Kate take care of business! Other memberrs also help out with social media, fun and events. None of us are musicians by trade, though some of us have had musical training, belonged to choirs and ensembles growing up or

 have experience of amateur performance. They love any excuse for a singalong! We work on music which makes people happy, learning by ear and enjoying the way that singing can bring people together.
